Public Transportation

  • - Take Bart to Downtown Berkeley station on Shattuck Ave and Center St..
  • - Walk to the P Line bus stop at Shattuck Ave and Addison St..
  • - Get off at the North Gate on Hearst Ave and Euclid St.
  • - Davis Hall is located one block west of the bus stop, across from LeRoy Ave

Driving

From San Francisco, the San Francisco airport, and points south on northbound Highway 101:

  • - Follow U.S. 101 north, then I-80 east across the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge.
  • - Stay left as you exit the Bay Bridge and take I-80 east heading to Berkeley & Sacramento.
  • - Exit I-80 onto University Ave.
  • - Continue east on University Ave. for approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford St. at the western edge of the campus.
  • - Turn left on Oxford, then take the second right onto Hearst Ave.
  • - Bear left at the Y onto LeConte Ave. At the 5-way intersection, take the second right onto Ridge Rd. (Note that the first right is Scenic Ave.).
  • - Turn right on Euclid St.
  • - Turn right on Hearst Ave. and the parking garage entrance is on the right.
  • - Drive into the parking lot and drive to the rear right (north-east corner) wall where the blue PEER parking sign is located. Parking meter available.
  • - Davis Hall is located one block west of the parking garage, across from LeRoy Ave.

From Oakland, the Oakland airport, Hayward or San Jose on northbound I-880:

  • - Stay in left center lanes on I-880 when you reach downtown Oakland.
  • - Exit I-80 east (to Berkeley).
  • - Exit I-80 at University Ave.
  • - Continue east on University Ave. for approximately 1.5 miles to Oxford St.
  • - Turn left on Oxford, then take the second right onto Hearst Ave.
  • - Bear left at the Y onto LeConte Ave. At the 5-way intersection, take the second right onto Ridge Rd. (Note that the first right is Scenic Ave.).
  • - Turn right on Euclid St.
  • - Turn right on Hearst Ave. and the parking garage entrance is on the right.

  • - Make a right on Fulton St., which will become Oxford St. in two blocks.
  • - Turn right on Hearst Ave.
  • - Bear left at the Y onto LeConte Ave. At the 5-way intersection, take the second right onto Ridge Rd. (Note that the first right is Scenic Ave.).
  • - Turn right on Euclid St.

  • - Turn right at University Ave. and continue east one block to Oxford St.
  • - Turn left on Oxford, then take the second right onto Hearst Ave.
  • - Bear left at the Y onto LeConte Ave. At the 5-way intersection, take the second right onto Ridge Rd. (Note that the first right is Scenic Ave.).
