PEER Annual Meeting 2023 Speaker Bio: Peter Lee, P.E., S.E. is an Associate Principal and senior structural engineer with the San Francisco office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He was responsible for the design and oversaw construction of both the recent 95 State and 111 Main office towers in Salt Lake City, Utah. He will discuss the seismic design of 95 State using the PEER TBI Guidelines in the Salt Lake City jurisdiction. Peter’s experience with SOM also includes enhanced seismic design for recent California courthouse projects – San Bernardino Justice Center, San Diego Central Courthouse, and the New Modesto Courthouse now under construction. He currently serves on the PEER Industry Advisory Board (IAB) and has been a member of EERI since 1985. Updated July, 2023.
