Institutional Board
The Institutional Board consists of a representative from each of eleven core institutions and one member to represent the nine educational affiliates. These members are appointed by the Dean of the College of Engineering or a Department Chair at the respective institution. The Institutional Board provides policy level guidance and oversight for the Center with a goal to help PEER fulfill its mission.
Research Committee
The Research Committee sets research agenda based on PEER’s vision; works with stakeholders and industry partners to identify community needs and integrates them into the research plan; makes recommendations for funding grants; develops the topics and timeline for Request for Proposals (RFP) and reviews and evaluates proposals or identifies a pool of reviewers.
Industry Advisory Board
The Industry Advisory Board identifies current and future needs of the profession and engineering community; advises on industry problems and applications with research potential; provides the bridge between research and industry; facilitates opportunities for PEER to pursue.
Resource Identification Committee
The Resource Identification Committe pursues existing opportunities and actively seeks out new sources of funding to help realize PEER’s vision; identifies and facilitates funding opportunities for PEER leadership to pursue; provides recommendations and directions to increase chances of securing funding.
