A special element every year at the PEER Annual Meeting is the Graduate Student Poster Reception. At this year’s 2012 PEER Annual Meeting, 26 graduate students from PEER’s Core Institutions shared their research work with the diverse group of nearly 200 attendees including faculty, post-docs, other grad-students, undergraduate students, practicing professionals and others interested in PEER’s ongoing earthquake engineering research.
The poster session was held on Friday evening October 26th after a full day of plenary, break-out and discussion sessions thus, the graduate students were able to network throughout the conference and learn more about the latest research topics underway at PEER in addition to sharing their own work. A list of the participating students is shown below. Visit the 2012 PEER Annual Meeting website to view the the poster presentation titles and view a pdf of their research posters!
