PEER Annual Meeting 2023 Speaker Bio: Derek Lambeth is a Program Manager for Cal OES’s Earthquake Early Warning program, the country’s first publicly available, statewide warning system that can give Californians crucial seconds to take protective action before shaking starts. Previously, Derek led Cal OES’s Recovery Support Functions Unit during the 2020 & 2021 California Wildfire disaster recovery efforts.
