2025 PEER Annual Meeting Speaker Bio: Rodrigo Tapia earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Santiago, Chile. His Master's research focused on the response of metal connections in mass timber buildings under seismic loads. Currently, as a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Berkeley, he is researching the application of Fiber Optic Sensing to enhance the safety and resilience of structural systems.
