OpenSees: An Update, Webinar, and Back on the Road

Some OpenSees news and events as a busy year comes to a close:

OpenSees Version 2.4.2 has been released

A minor update, Version 2.4.3, has been released. It contains a few new classes, a few bug fixes, and for those who have been requesting it for awhile, the ability to obtain the structural stiffness matrix. See the OpenSees change log for a full list of additions/modifications.

Upcoming Webinar: Load Balancing for Large Parameter Studies

The next webinar in the Discovering OpenSees Series will occur next Monday and Tuesday, November 25-26, 2013. This seminar will demonstrate how to improve the performance of parameter studies being run on high performance computers using load balancing techniques.

OpenSees on the Road – Oregon State University

The last OpenSees On The Road event will take place November 21-22, 2013 at Oregon State University. Open to all Civil and Construction Engineering students and faculty.
