PEER has just published Report No. 2012/05 titled “Development of Simplified Analysis Procedure for Piles in Laterally Spreading Layered Soils” as a new addition to the PEER Report Series. It was authored by Christopher R. McGann, Pedro Arduino, and Peter Mackenzie–Helnwein of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering University of Washington. The research and report were sponsored by PEER’s Transportation Systems Research Program.
