The February 27, 2010 Chile Earthquake: Preliminary earthquake strong motion records and response spectrum available

The University of Chile operates a National Network of Strong Motion Accelerometers (RENADIC) consisting of nearly 60 sites in the region shaken by the earthquake of February 27, 2010. In addition to ground recording stations, six buildings, mainly in Santiago and Vina del Mar, are instrumented. Information on the network and preliminary information on the ground motion time histories and response spectra being obtained can be found at: This site will be updated as more records become available.
