Opportunity for grad students to attend 10CUEE conference as PEER Delegate

PEER has been asked to nominate 6 graduate students to attend the 2013 CUEE Annual Meeting (10th International Conference on Urban Earthquake Engineering) as PEER Representatives. As a PEER representative the full travel expenses for these students will be covered by CUEE, however, they are required to submit a paper and abstract to the conference.

The meeting will be held on March 1-2, 2013 at the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Tokyo, Japan. More information can be found at the 10CUEE conference website.

PEER would like to make this opportunity available to students funded on PEER research projects. Please notify your students of this opportunity and ask them to formally apply for consideration at PEER's 2013 CUEE Delegate Application web page. The DEADLINE for students to apply to PEER is 5pm on OCTOBER 17.

Support for additional US attendees may also be possible from CUEE, by submitting an abstract before the October 31 deadline and applying for a 10CUEE travel grant.
