Professor Deierlein is selected as one of ENR's "Top 25 Newsmakers of 2009"

Every year, Engineering News Record (ENR) chooses 25 people who deserve special recognition based on their efforts to deliver innovations, achievements and services that advance the construction industry. In 2009 Professor Gregory Deierlein, a PEER collaborator, was chosen for this honor. While his research on on rocking frames was not a PEER project, PEER would like to extend our congratulations to Professor Deierlein for this award and for his efforts to broaden the construction industry's exposure to performance based earthquake engineering solutions.
