PEER is pleased to announce a new Request for Proposals on Site Response for the PEER Lifelines Program.
This RFP is seeking proposals that will develop an amplification function that can be used to modify a response spectrum (at surface) to account for the impact of liquefaction. Emphasis is on identification of conditions resulting in amplification and the magnitude and period range of the amplification. Typical factors may include level and duration of shaking, relative density of the liquefied soil, and thickness and depth of the liquefied strata.
