2 Projects Funded for $1.4 Million

PEER, in collaboration with Caltrans, issued RFPs for two topics last month: 

  • PEER RFP 25-01: "Fatigue Evaluation and Design of Filled and Partially Filled Metal Grid Deck System" and
  • PEER RFP 25-02: "Stiffness Properties of Reinforced Concrete Bridge Column under Superimposed Deformations due to Secondary Load Effects"

Several proposals were received, and two projects (one for each RFP), comprising a total funding amount of $1.4 million, were funded following a rigorous review process by PEER and Caltrans. PEER thanks all the PIs who submitted excellent proposals and the efforts of reviewers who provided detailed feedback. Details of the funded projects are provided below.
