The purpose of this task is to develop tools to evaluate Damage Measure (DM) for critical coastal structures and lifelines: see the flow chart of PBTE. Critical structures and lifelines include coastal bridges, oil and LNG storage facilities, nuclear and fossil power plants, ports and harbors, and buildings used for vertical evacuation from tsunamis.
