The project Principal Investigator (PI) is Tracy Becker, Assistant Professor, UC Berkeley. The Research Team includes Jennie Watson-Lamprey, CEO and Principal Engineering Seismologist, Slate Geotechnical Consultants and Camila Lopez Ruiz, Graduate Student Researcher, UC Berkeley.

The project Principal Investigator (PI) is Raja Sengupta, Professor of Civil Engineering, UC Berkeley. The Research Team includes Xin Peng, Graduate Student Researcher, UC Berkeley and Gaofeng Su, Graduate Student Researcher, UC Berkeley.

The PEER-Bridge Research Program is announcing a Request For Proposals, 21-03 and 21-04, for two topics: RFP 21-03 is with the objective of evaluating hazard levels for temporary bridges, and RFP 21-04 is for developing design guidelines to determine whether a bridge should be designed to a recovery bridge standard.

PEER-affiliated researchers participated in the 17th World Conference on Earthquake Engineering (17WCEE), held in a hybrid format in person at Sendai, Japan, and online September 27 - October 2, 2021, and online during an extended conference period, September 20 - November 2, 2021.

The Terry Peshia Early Career Faculty Award provides recognition to faculty who demonstrate promise in the areas of structural steel research, teaching, and other contributions to the structural steel industry.
